Dragoș Savloschi wins Trofeul Alba Iulia and opens the 2026 season with a track record
The Revizie Cutie Team driver dominated the opening round of the 2026 National Super Rally Championship on the streets of Alba Iulia, clocking 2:52.197 — a new track record.
The 2026 National Super Rally Championship could not have started better for Dragoș Savloschi. Behind the wheel of the Wolf GB08 Thunder prototype, the Revizie Cutie Team driver won Trofeul Alba Iulia, the opening round of the season, held on the urban circuit in the heart of the city.
A benchmark time
Savloschi stopped the clock at 2:52.197, a new track record, after a race watched by nearly 8,000 spectators. Aurelian Andronache (Wolf GB08 Thunder) finished just three tenths behind, with Lucian Răduț (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII) completing the podium.
The goal: the title
"This year I don't want to miss the championship title. We trust the team and the car," Dragoș said after the win. The next round is scheduled for 26–27 June in Hunedoara, as part of Trofeul Mihai Leu.
